Keith and Chloe vow renewal
It’s been a while since I blogged…
This assignment pushed me to REALLY believe in myself. If you know photographers, we have a style and comfort zone to take photographs in. We like to control our light and surroundings as much as possible.
Well, this one took me completely out of my zone and pushed me to adapt and overcome. Aniya… thank you for always being that voice in my head (kick-ass Jason…LOL). Also to my wife who constantly reminds me…“you got this”
Chloe and Keith got married in the COVID wave and didn’t have photos after their wedding, they traveled back to Barbados and decided to renew their vows and take some photos. I was lucky to be awarded this opportunity to capture their moments, it also was a push for me to change how I approached situations. Honestly, this was not an assignment but a lesson for me.
The ceremony was short and to the point and we started our adventures to make some memories, Chloe and Keith, thank you! this really took me out of my box. You guys were amazing!
Enough of my yapping, check out these moments!

Going to make this short and to the point
The couple promised me a review, so I will just keep it brief and to the point
When asked to be a part of this moment it was a pleasure to be considered to document their journey. And what a day it was.

What can I say about my experience…
Jason Prescod Photography! What can I say about my experience...... Professional puts you at ease, timely responses (communication was on point), and last but by no means least, fun, fun, fun; (makes me want to have more pictures taken; (and I normally don't like taking pictures, lol).
The pictures turned out beautifully... beyond our wildest expectations, and the entire wedding party had a blast in the photoshoot. Raschid and I are so pleased that we made the wise choice in choosing Jason to capture our special moments on our wedding day, and our pictures were even delivered before the agreed time. Can't forget the second photographer Jamel Gittens, who was also a dream to work with. Great team!
This was by far the best experience I've had with photographers to date; Thank you for making our day even more special.

Some of their moments captured.
Jaime and Mark Say I DO!
Where do I even start?
From the time I got into photography, Mark said “You taking my pictures!” and with a big grin I would reply “ Thank you! I just trying a ting” and Mark would say “ Nahhhh you taking my pictures!”
Fast forward to a few years later. I took their pictures! LOL
When I first met Jaime she was quiet and left most of the talking to Mark, I think we finally clicked when the group chat was started and our first attempt at the pre-wedding shoot was rained out and Jaime messaged me, Jason it’s POURING!! my response was STUPSE! from there we exchanged a hearty laugh and started chatting about what we were going to do.
We did that pre-wedding and nailed it!
Jaime and Mark
The leading up to the wedding day was nothing short of a story, but they pushed past the obstacles and it was a fantastic day! They were a pleasure to work with and we captured some amazing moments for them.
The getting ready at the Crane Resort was definitely a movie, the bride tribe was on point!
Jaime was stunning in her wedding dress by @bridalbylisag
The ceremony was EPIC!… no lie, we really knocked this one out the park.
When these photos were delivered to the clients, I can still hear Jaime shouting …
I CAN’T STOP LOOKING AT THESE!… She was happy. Yes, Mark messaged me and said “you see why you had to take my pictures?”
Another wedding done and dusted!

What a Review!
It is a pleasure being able to finally write this review!
From the inception of our wedding planning, there were two aspects of the day we decided warranted the bulk of our finances: food and photography. With our caterer already secured in the bag, the task was to find a photographer who would bring our vision to life.
We spent days going through Facebook and Instagram, researching various photographers on the island and what they had to offer. Like any good planners, we narrowed down on our list to those we deemed the best fit for our vision. The initial photographer we chose was unavailable for our wedding date and that was a blessing in disguise for us.
From our first meeting, we knew we made the right choice. You made us extremely comfortable, getting to know us as a couple and what we wanted on our wedding day. You impressed us with your keen attention to details something we both shared in common.
The magnitude of your professionalism made our planning experience enjoyable and less stressful. There were minutes from our first meeting which were a welcomed surprise. The willingness to get the MUA of choice booked with haste. The various check-ups to see how everything else planning wise was going. Our engagement shoot was done in a timely fashion and end results were beautiful. You spoke to us like old acquaintances and got us comfortable in front of the camera to produce breathtaking images. The cream of the crop was being present at our wedding rehearsal, guiding us through the walk down the aisle, how to position our fingers to get that “ring shot”, making sure the bridal party were all in position for the big day.
On our wedding day, it was above and beyond service. It was not simply taking photos. It was watching a year of planning unfold behind the lens. It was making sure we ate and didn’t run off to see each other. It was keeping us calm, smiling and capturing when those tears began to flow. For us, as a couple, we are all about making memories and that is what you helped us achieve on that day. Capturing not only our joy but that of our guests as well.
We cannot stress enough how thoroughly impressed we are with the work that you do. Every time we look at our wedding photos we relive the happiness of that day, seeing our vision come to life. With the pandemic, there was the uncontrollably delay in receiving the wedding photo book however on its arrival it was simply breathtaking and spectacular. Attention to details once again with the hint of our colours. The amazing quality of the photos. We gave some of our family members the opportunity to see the finished result before we wrote our review and let’s just say they were all in awe at its finish and quality.
We thank you so much for a superb job done and as our 1st anniversary is soon here, we cannot wait to create more memories with you!

Kevin and Shakira Got Married!
Being asked to photograph this wedding was indeed a honour. It was all fun and loud laughter from the engagement session to the wedding day!
There comes a point when clients become more than just clients, and these two definitely fit the description, Shakira is the organised one and Kevin will just make you roll over in laughter. Seriously Kevin can hold his own when the time comes.
Watching these two interact over the time I spent with them, I knew this wedding was going to be one to remember for a while, the chemistry between these two was something you had to be part of.
To make sure I was kept on my toes and not too relaxed Shakira said to me “Oh by the way… The Wedding dress designer needs to have some shots of the dress” I shrugged and said “No problem” it then dawned on me to ask “Who is the designer?” … “Jaye Applewaite” Shakira said. I reached for my blood pressure medication!!
So a little of what happened

Angelic and Allan
Meet the McDowalls!
I had the opportunity to work with this young couple on their wedding day in March 2019. What can I say? It was a great time.
Angelic and Allan reached out to me the year prior about their wedding and what they had in mind for the grand event, Allan stressed that this was not a typical wedding this was going to be a short ceremony and a party. After a minor change in venues we were all set to go.

Kylon & Noemi's wedding day in Barbados
Got the chance to photograph this amazing garden wedding for Kylon and his beautiful bride Noemi on the immaculate grounds of Golden Grove Plantation.
It was a quiet and intimate setting, the mood was just right. The perfect day for a wedding. A quick check with the ring bearer and flower girl and we were set to go.
A glimpse into their special day.
